Bat Card

It's time to show off another amazingly fun Halloween project. This card is brought to you by DT member Pia Astrand. She has wowed us with her use of our bat template and embellishment set.

How cute is this folded bat card? And the pop of color from the flower is the perfect contrast from the black.

Pia doodled around the edge of the card with a white pen.

And the inside of the card uses our bat embellishment, which has been inked black and includes a handwritten sentiment.

So that you can recreate this card, Pia has provided us with the template for making the card.

Trick or Treat Card

Ready for another spook-a-licious Halloween creations? Today we have a fun card made by DT member Bev Code. And now I'll let her give you all the details in her own words.

JnW Crafts is a small town, family run business that creates unique templates and embellishments from wood and acrylic mediums. The different mediums allow more options for you the consumer. And we all want more options, right?

I am honoured to be on the DT and enjoy sharing projects made using these fun templates for either tracing, or using the positive and negative of the wood templates.

This card started with background paint splatter, a Cricut cut sentiment, web borders, and a spider. I used the template to trace the bat. Then wanting it to have 3D dimension, I variegate folded it starting from the centre out the wings. Apply glue to the lower edge and apply to card. Just a touch of stickles on the bat and the card is done.Visit the store to view this and many other fabulous images in wood and acrylic. This bat template is available in the store.

Bat Template and Embellishment Set

With the night of thrills and chills just around the corner, I thought it would be the perfect time to show off our bat template and embellishment set.

This set is perfect for any Halloween project you have in mind.

Whether you want to use the template by itself to make lots and lots of bats, or use the embellishment by itself to make an accent piece on a card, you can't go wrong.

Or maybe you want to use both pieces together. This way you have both the positive and negative images to create a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
