Thank You Card

It's the start of a new month, and now my thoughts are moving into all those wonderful colors of fall.  So let's get going, and I'll show you how I made this card.

I started with a sheet of water color paper and several colors of liquid watercolors. I simply added and layered the colors until I was happy with the result.

Next, I used a template, Distress Paint, and Distress Stain to add another layer of color.

While the paint dried, I moved on to the embellishment. I used a JnW Crafts ticket embellishment and painted it first with acrylic paint and then with a layer of Smooch ink.

Now it's time to put it all together. I simply cut the watercolor paper, adhered it the card, added a bit of ribbon, and the ticket. Lastly, I doodled a border around the edge of the card.

A perfect fall themed card.

Tickets Anyone?

Are you ready for another preview of our templates and matching embellishments? Well wait not more!

Today, we have two different but very similar designs. Let's start with our single ticket. Isn't it cute? The template will let you create custom made tickets to your heart's content. Or you can add paint or ink to the ticket shape. Or use both together!

One thing I've always wanted with templates is to have both the positive and negative images so that I could layer the design. Now that wish is a reality.

Lastly is our double ticket design. Even cuter than the single ticket design right? Two overlapping tickets at once. You wouldn't believe how many ideas I have in mind using both of these designs. So stay tuned for future posts showing how these beauties were used.
